New generation of Laser vision correction !

Since January 2007 Intermedica in Poznań offers its patients vision corrections using Wavefront Technology. A new Allegretto Wave laser by WaveLight is now available at Intermedica in Poznań and Szczecin! The Allegretto laser in Szczecin is the only excimer laser in the whole north-west part of Poland.

Intermedica in Poznań is the only clinic in Poland where you can find an Allegretto Wave laser together with Oculyzer. The Allegretto Wave laser provides wavefront-guided and topography-guided treatments. Wavefront measurements provide meticulously detailed information that can help eye surgeons address even obscure defects known as higher aberrations. Wavefront-guided treatment involves an additional step where the results of a detailed scan with the WaveLight Analyzer provides further measurements for the treatment plan, the data is validated, and then it is transferred to the Allegretto Wave laser system. Next, the final treatment profile is calculated.

The Allegretto Wave customizes every treatment to the patient’s individual prescription and cornea while aiming to improve what nature originally designed. It is the first European laser to receive approval by the US Food and Drug Administration FDA.
